Art Videos for Kids Now on YouTube

One of my passions is inspiring and empowering parents, homeschoolers, and teachers to teach art to kids. But sometimes a parent needs to step away for that cup of much needed coffee, and to just breathe in the day. That’s when art videos for kids come in handy.

I’m happy to report that Soul Sparklettes Art is now providing videos just for kids, one every single week, on my YouTube Channel.

And don’t forget to head here to pick up your issues of The Glitter Bomb Art Curriculum – June & July are completely free.

5 Benefits of Art Videos for Kids

Video lessons can’t replace that in person one-on-one instruction, but they still offer a ton of benefits (and fun!) for kids and parents alike.

Hit That Pause Button

How many times have you noticed that your child became a little frustrated with a LIVE video because it’s moving too fast? Art lessons on YouTube allow that much needed pause and rewind button, which helps anxious and perfectionist kids watch it again and again.

A Different Teacher

Having different teachers allows a child to experience different teaching styles. And it also allows the parent to not have to know “all the things”. It’s a great solution for when a certain concept feels overwhelming.

Art Time for Mom and Dad Too

Parents and grandparents can sit down beside their kids and do the art project at the same time. Not only is this fun for kids, to see their parents doing art alongside them, but they get to see their parents learning – in action.

Learning How to Teach

Sometimes we want to teach a subject, but aren’t sure how. Watching how another person teaches that subject is a wonderful way to grow our own confidence, especially when it comes to art. Learning how to describe a line, how to handle a tricky part to paint, how to use a certain supply – it’s a perfect way to educate ourselves at the same time.

Get That Break

Homeschooling and parenting can be hard, especially right now, when everyone is feeling a bit cooped up and uncertain. Grab that moment to yourself while your kids are creating art. Use it to have some coffee, or use it to clean that bathroom that’s been bugging you – it’s your choice. But make it your time.

Art videos for kids can create confidence in them, and for you.
